Many gearheads in Metairie, LA enjoy the web series Roadkill from Motor Trend, where the hosts, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan, take on some truly unique challenges with vehicles that are equally as interesting. In the latest episode, they've decided to flex some muscle, and when we're talking about muscle cars, of course Dodge has to enter the conversation.

The challenge is to get from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City, through Las Vegas. Once there, the two hosts will drag race at Rocky Mountain Raceway in the famed Midnight Drags competition. One of the rides in this challenge? A 1970 Dodge Super Bee.

This vehicle, named for its black and yellow paint is certainly a head-turner, much like more modern rides like the Challenger here at Bergeron Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Mopar SRT.  The classic model comes, of course, with classic displacement, proudly on display sitting outside the hood with a HEMI V-8 that's supercharged to pump out 675 horsepower.

We can only imagine the thrills someone would get as they accelerate and hear the roar of the engine, though we have an idea thanks to our new Dodge lineup.

To check out the episode in full, and see the results of the journey and the drag race, check it out on Motor Trend's YouTube page.

Then, if you're craving some muscle car performance, stop in to Bergeron Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Mopar SRT during our regular business hours. We'd be happy to discuss all the auto loan options on models like the Charger, answer any questions you might have, and arrange test drives.
