Jeep redesigned the Cherokee for 2022, giving it more standard features and offering a more fuel-efficient plug-in hybrid powertrain. People in Metairie who want to spend less on gas will like that the new Grand Cherokee WL 4xe has an all-electric range of 24 miles before switching over to gasoline power. Jeep also re-tuned the Grand Cherokee WL's suspension for a smoother ride on city streets.
The new Grand Cherokee WL still has the off-road ability you love, with three available four-wheel drive systems and up to 11.3 inches of ground clearance. Grand Cherokee WL Trailhawk trims have a limited-slip differential, a terrain management system, and skid plates that enable them to conquer some of the most rugged landscapes. When properly equipped, the Grand Cherokee WL can tow up to 7,200 pounds.
Jeep also refreshed the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WL's interior and exterior design. It now has a lower roofline and beltline and a more pronounced chin. Its seven-slot grille is now slightly tilted, and flanked by slimmer LED headlights. Inside, Jeep made the Grand Cherokee WL longer and wider for more legroom. Kenner drivers will appreciate its revised infotainment system, which has a larger standard touch screen (8.4 inches) and a standard Wi-Fi hot spot.
