Ram 1500 Maintenance Schedule
Although this maintenance schedule is not all-inclusive, it is a good reminder of what our Ram 1500 customers need to watch out for at these mileage intervals:
8,000 miles - at this mileage, the emphasis will be on oil & filter change, tire inspection, and rotation
20,000 miles - now it's time to begin inspecting the front suspension, CV joints, brakes, tie rods, and replace the cabin air filters
 Â
30,000 miles - at this interval, check the CV joints, transfer case fluid, front and rear axles, and replace the engine air filters
 Â
60,000 miles - trucks involved in significant towing, hauling, or trailering will need to exchange the automatic transmission fluid and replace filters
100,000 miles - at this key interval, a few new actions are required, including, spark plug replacement and PCV valve inspection. It is also important to receive a thorough and comprehensive Multi-Point Inspection
Â
Adherence to the Ram 1500 maintenance schedule found in the owner's manual is one of the best ways to get the most out of the truck. Our customers that remain diligent with routine maintenance maximize the benefits and performances that they get out of their truck. A few key benefits to following the recommended maintenance schedule are supporting the engine's reliable performance and efficiency, keeping essential components prone to rapid wear in excellent condition, and protecting passenger safety.
