Performance

Engines and Transmission

A few trims will come with a mighty V-8 engine that shares an eight-speed automatic transmission to support a four-wheel drive on any Metairie street. The V-6, on the other hand, supports a four-wheel drive.

The more powerful trim, which is the Scat pack, showed impressive results on a test drive around Slidell. The car took only 3.8 seconds to reach a speed of 60 mph. EPA results showed its consumption is average on city roads and very competitive on freeways. A test was done on the V-6, and the V-8 engines showed that both engine consumption difference was only one mpg. The V-6 engine consumption rate was 26 mpg while the V-8 consumed 25 mpg on the freeway.
